We purchased our Puggle from a reliable breeder in Ohio 2 months ago, and due to circumstances beyond our control we are not able to keep him. Bogie was born on April 1, is fawn color with a flat nose black mask - and has not been neutered yet.
Would be happy to send a picture - Bogie is CRATE trained, and we would provide crate, toys & food, and are willing to participate in shipping.
One thing is for certain. Puggles are cute. That there is no doubt. Puggles warm our hearts and like any great companion, they know when we are down, they know how we feel when we feel it, sometimes even before we do! You may not even want to go to a breeder to get your dog either.

Personally I would go with the animal shelter, however that is personal preference.
